Also, Crosstalk for Windows (yes, really...) version 2.10. But make sure you
get the latest (1.03) telnet.dll update from Compuserve. I couldn't get it to
work without the update.
This gives you all the features that are available in a typical comm program
for serial connections, except it can act as a Telnet client with a Winsock.
i.e. scripting, upload/download (handles binary-mode connections), scroll
buffer, cut/paste, programmable button-bar, character translation, etc. etc.
etc.
You can open multiple Telnet sessions in multiple windows. I beleive that you
could even write a script to copy data back and forth between different open
windows - which wouldn't even necessarly all have to be Telnet sessions.
(Could be the basis, say, for a *really* cheezy BBS<->Usenet gateway! :) )
